Bring your own picnic dinner and enjoy Kosher dairy desserts on us to celebrate Havdalah, a Jewish religious ceremony that marks the symbolic end of Shabbat and ushers in the new week. The ritual involves lighting a special Havdalah candle with several wicks, blessing a cup of wine and smelling sweet spices.
This event is family-friendly – children are welcome and encouraged to attend. Don’t forget to pack anything you will need for a picnic, including blankets and chairs.
NEXTGen will provide one Havdalah set but anyone is welcome to bring their own.
Check your emails and NEXTGen’s social media accounts for location in case of rain.
